A Michigan-based developer has expanded its footprint in Chicago with a senior living facility in Oak Park, Illinois. Construction on the 174-unit American House Oak Park, located at 703 Madison St., was completed in July. A grand opening is set for Oct. 20. This is the second Chicago-area development for Real Estate Development and Investment Co. (REDICO), which also owns the 178-unit American House Cedarlake in Plainfield. 'The state of Illinois in general is a strategic market for American House and we will continue to look for new opportunities,' said Dale Watchowski, president and CEO of REDICO.
