The village is also thinking about ways to boost its weekly market that starts in June. Linda Sapp/Provided BLUFFS — Spring will be a season of refresh and renewal for the village. A $600,000 grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources will allow the village to make improvements to Lewis Park. Some of the renovations being discussed include adding cornhole and pickleball areas, Americans with Disabilities Act-complaint parking, new restrooms, sun shades for pedestrians, and refurbishing the park's electrical systems.
